BARNARD PLACE PARK IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DAILY - HOURS VARY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Volunteering is an inspiring way to accomplish neighborhood goals together and a wonderful opportunity to get to know your neighbors.
Barnard Place Park welcomes Boston residents to join-in by becoming active volunteers. Through your volunteer support, we can ensure Barnard Place Park will provide a beautiful, open space for the public to enjoy for many years to come.
Pattie McCormick, Associate Director of Development of the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club, and Barnard Place Park collaborate annually to create a gardening experience for the Club's pre-teen members as a way to cultivate gardening skills while giving back to the local community as hands-on volunteers— digging in to install Barnard Place Park’s seasonal rounds of plantings. We are so excited about this program. It is a true, neighborhood partnership through which the Boys & Girls Club will utilize Barnard Place Park as an ongoing laboratory, a place to continue teaching their members about growing and caring for vegetables, herbs, pollinators, and trees.
Additional Barnard Place Park Volunteer Opportunities include:
If there are volunteer activities in which you would like to participate, we would love to hear from you.
