BARNARD PLACE PARK IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DAILY - HOURS VARY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
The Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club and neighborhood children are focused on Courtney Goode (GLS) as she demonstrates how deep to plant the various 150 bulbs for our first gardening club event. Anne Gordon (BGCB), Kayla Murgo (GLS), Pat T. (BP resident) look on.
Jennifer (BGCB), Rita, Pat S., Joanne, and Evan (BP residents) watch Courtney's demonstration.
Ready to put our new gardening knowledge to work everyone rolled up their sleeves to get the job done.
Rita and Ronan help to accomplish the goal of planting 150 crocus, daffodil, and muscari bulbs to bloom in the spring.
Big thanks to Keep Massachusetts Beautiful for providing the bulbs for this event and the South Boston Community Development Foundation for their major support of the Barnard Place Park and Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club gardening program!
